2 Stabbed At Party In Wu Tang Clan Founder RZA's Home

New Jersey State Police are investigating after two males were stabbed during a party at a New Jersey home owned by the rapper RZA, a founding member of the Wu-Tang Clan.

State police responded to calls of a stabbing around 1:18 a.m. Saturday at the home on Deer Trail Drive in Millstone Township, New Jersey, according to Sgt. Gregory Williams. Two males whose ages were not specified were taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center and are believed to be in stable condition, Williams said.

Williams did not name the homeowner, but Monmouth County property records list the 46-year-old RZA, whose real name is Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, as the property owner. Records show Diggs purchased the home in 1995.

RZA was not at the home when the stabbing happened; he and other members of the influential rap group performed later that day in Austin, Texas, headlining the Fun Fun Fun Fest.

Williams was unable to confirm what prompted the stabbing but said state police expect to release more information Monday.

A representative for RZA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
