In fact, around this time last year, Meg Ryan was even announced as the “voice of the mother on the show.” Yep, it was going to be legen … wait for it … dary! Then things turned out worse than when Ted got in a fight with a goat. The spinoff was rejected, and Meg Ryan was left staring at her computer waiting for Tom Hanks to email. Or something.
