Watch PlayStation's Mysterious Gamescom Video -- What Do You Think It's Teasing?

Gamescom is coming up soon. Next week, we’ll see what Sony, Microsoft, and several game developers and publishers have planned for the future. There’s a good chance that we’ll see some new PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita games revealed at the conference, and to get people excited, Sony has released a teaser trailer for the event.

Entitled simply #PlayStationGC, the short video shows some close-up shots of snowflakes and cracking ice. Ominously, blood drops move across the screen at the same time and splatter onto the ice. Harsh, sharp noises are heard. Coupled with the blood-stained snow, the sounds seem like they’d fit in well with a horror movie.

Recently, Sony’s lineup of playable titles at Gamescom leaked. This included previously unknown PS4 ports like Journey, and the reemergence of teen-horror game Until Dawn. Be sure to check out Sony’s press conference next Tuesday, August 12, at 11 AM PDT. Gamescom itself runs from August 13-17 in Cologne, Germany.

Personally, I think this trailer is hinting at Sony showing off Until Dawn. Can you make anything of the trailer? What do you want to see at Sony’s Gamescom event? Let us know in the comments!
