Led by director David Ayer, the cast of “Suicide Squad” made a surprise appearance at San Diego Comic-Con during the Warner Bros. panel on Saturday. No joke! And no Joker.
Though there was no panel or Jared Leto, cast members Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney and Joel Kinneman all came out to wave to the crowd.

Smith even took a moment to address everyone and get us even more excited than we already are:

A surprise had been teased before the Warner Bros. panel and the “Suicide Squad” definitely delivered. The first footage from the film was also reportedly shown and based on the social media reactions, everyone will probably freak out when that hits the Internet, too.
