Meghan McCain, the daughter of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), slammed business mogul Donald Trump for questioning her father’s military record just a month after her brother returned from serving in Afghanistan.
McCain said that she was “glad” that her brother could hear Trump say that he liked “people who weren’t captured” during war.
I have a brother that just returned from Afghanistan a month ago, glad he can come home to this being said about his father and his service.

Republicans were quick to denounce Trump’s comments on Saturday. Trump himself bafflingly tried to deny that he was questioning the military record of John McCain, who was held prisoner in North Vietnam for 5 ½ years.
