Looks like Katy Perry and Taylor Swift still have some bad blood between them, because Perry couldn’t wait to chime in on the Twitter fight Swift managed to get herself into with Nicki Minaj.
On Wednesday, Perry tweeted:
Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman…
— KATY PERRY (@katyperry) July 22, 2015
Ironic indeed, as Perry is said to be the inspiration behind “Bad Blood,” which was nominated for the MTV VMA for Video of the Year, as well as Best Collaboration.
And if you recall on Tuesday, Swift seemed to think that Minaj was targeting her when she tweeted, “If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year.”
Though Minaj never mentioned her by name, Swift tweeted at the rapper, “I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot..”
Minaj shut Swift down, explaining her that her tweets had nothing to do with her, and had even less patience for the singer when Swift responded, “If I win, please come up with me!! You’re invited to any stage I’m ever on.”
Minaj responded by retweeting a fan:
.@taylorswift13 stop using “support all girls” as an excuse to not be critical of racist media that benefits and glorifies you

Since we’ve seen what happens when you assume someone is calling someone out, we won’t say that Perry was specifically addressing Swift’s tweet, but we kind of have a really good feeling she was.
