Marvel Comics held a press call so that writer Rick Remender and Executive Editor Tom Brevoort could get us even more pumped for the upcoming AXIS event than we already are.
Out this October, AXIS features the Avengers and X-Men teaming up to take on the Red Onslaught, an upgraded version of the Red Skull who, according to Brevoort, can now challenge the likes of Iron Man and Thor with his new powers. What new powers? The telepathic ones he gained from grafting Professor X’s brain to his own.
