David Arquette says that while he and ex-wife Courteney Cox are still “very close,” you probably won’t be seeing him at her upcoming wedding to Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid.
When speaking to reporters at the Imagine Ball in West Hollywood last week, the 42-year-old actor spoke highly of his ex, saying, “We are all very tight and very close and very supportive of everyone.”
But when asked if that meant he would be attending Cox’s upcoming nuptials, Us Weekly reports that Arquette said: “I doubt that.”
It’s unclear if that means Arquette would decline an invite or if he doesn’t think he would receive one. Either way, there seems to be no tension between the couple, who split back in 2010. If anything, the Hollywood exes have been a model for an amicable split and co-parenting done right.
“We just really dealt with [divorce] in a very sweet and honorable way,” Arquette said Sunday during an episode of “Watch What Happens Live.”
“I don’t know. We just love each other. Even though the relationship didn’t work out, we wanted to still remain friends and treat each other with respect and have a great relationship for our daughter,” he said.
As for Arquette’s own love life, he’s engaged to Christina McLarty. The couple recently welcomed their first child Charlie West.
