Following their public breakup, Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy reunited on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday, and things got awkward.

How bad was it? Well, at one point, Miss Piggy recalled a time she dissected a frog.

“I bet you ripped his heart out, too,” says Kermit.

“Yeah, well at least he had one,” replies Piggy.

Ouch.

The couple explained that it was just little things, like the fact that Kermit washes himself in the sink, that actually led to their split last month. And from all the shots taken, it doesn’t look like they’re going to be getting back together anytime soon.

It’s not easy being green, but hanging out with your ex is clearly the real pain in the butt.

“The Muppets” premieres Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
