Selena Gomez is taking London by storm as she promotes her forthcoming album, “Revival.”
On Wednesday, the 23-year-old turned heads as she was spotted leaving The Dorchester Hotel after taping an appearance on “Alan Carr: Chatty Man” earlier in the day. Gomez stunned in a black floor-length dress with a thigh-slit and plunging neckline.
The former Disney star also recently sat down with “Extra” where she revealed that some of the songs on her new album were inspired by the comments and negativity she encountered from body-shamers after she apparently gained some weight earlier this year.
“I was getting a lot of hate for my body and ‘You’re gaining weight’ [comments,] and so I was in Mexico and I was just feeling all of this stuff and I would be lying to you if I said it didn’t kind of hurt my feelings, but I kind of channeled that into my music,” Gomez said.
She added, “I felt like everybody was saying so much and I’m like, ‘I need to say something … ‘ My songs on the record are ‘Survivors,’ ‘Kill ‘em with Kindness,’ and ‘Rise.’ It’s all geared toward me trying to be heard, and I think this is the best thing that I’ve ever done in my whole career and I’m so excited.”
