When the going gets freaky, the freaks get going.

That’s how it went down

Saturday in Baltimore at the city’s Shindig Festival.

While “normal” festivalgoers enjoyed the music of rock acts like Stone Temple Pilots and Godsmack, the weirder guests headed over to the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! Sidestage.

How strange was it? Well, how about Donny Vomit, a sword swalloer who takes the ultimate selfie. And, of course, his partner, Frankie Sin, pranced down a ladder of swords.

Lizardman Erik Sprague did his cranial corkscrew — with metal twisting up his nose and out his mouth.

Melody Magpie gave Lil Bub a burlesque makeover. Titano Oddfellow, The Illustrated Penguin, Monsters of Schlock, Reverend Valentine, Bunny Vicious, Lady Octavia, and other sideshow stars took the stage.
