You think you know what Chris Pratt looks like right now, but you don’t, because he doesn’t look like that image in your head anymore.

Just check out Pratt with a beard, and dare to say you recognize him.

As Entertainment Tonight put it, “Look at that epic beard! It’s hard to tell it’s even Pratt and not a hermit from the mountains who hasn’t been to the big city in 20 years.”

But actually, the beard is fake!

If you thought Chris Pratt still looked roughly like he did in your mind before reading this post, you were right all along.

In the words of of Pratt’s “Parks & Recreation” character, Andy Dwyer, “I know what things are.” And so do you.

The beard was part of a costume for an upcoming role in the science fiction movie “Passengers.” The scene was filmed in Atlanta, Georgia.

As ET reports, the one true Pratt reality is that he is clean shaven at the moment. Only in sci-fi does he have a jungle on his face.
