Hurricane Joaquin is apparently supposed to make landfall in the U.S. sometime this weekend, but instead of making preparations for the storm, me some people are making jokes. That’s because the hurricane’s name reminds people of actor Joaquin Phoenix.
Can’t help thinking that #HurricaneJoaquin is just the media’s term for Joaquin Phoenix on a press tour or something

It’s also sort of like when you’re in a really terrible situation and someone makes a joke to cool the tension.
Let’s go out on a low high note, shall we?
My advice for #HurricaneJoaquin? Evacuate (the dance floor) @cascada_music https://t.co/xUhn47ovaQ
