The new Caped Crusader, Ben Affleck, recently opened up about the challenges of taking on the iconic role in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Affleck said that Warner Bros. warned him about the fan outcry over big-time casting before accepting the part of Bruce Wayne. The Argo director said that didn’t deter him, realizing that everyone has an opinion. “I wouldn’t have taken the part if I didn’t trust my instincts in terms of the filmmaking,” he said.
