Celebrities think they’re the real stars — that is, until their kids walk on camera.

Simon Cowell, fresh off the announcement that he’ll be joining “America’s Got Talent” in 2016, was being interviewed on “Extra” when he received a surprise visitor. Cowell’s 20-month-old son, Eric, toddled into the frame, offering his dad a toy car.

“He’s got a British accent!” Cowell said.

When asked what similarities Cowell sees between himself and his son, the U.K. “X Factor” judge answered, “When he’s won something, he’s like me, he just says it over and over again.” Cowell and girlfriend Lauren Silverman welcomed Eric in February 2014, and he’s taken well to fatherhood.

“I never knew how much love and pride I would feel,” Cowell wrote on Twitter shortly after Eric’s birth. Freaking adorable.
