Taylor Swift is loving the crew.
The 25-year-old singer posted a photo of herself with her 1989 World Tour crew and bandmates on vacation in Australia.
“So stoked to be able to take my band and crew on a vacation at the end of a long and wonderful tour,” read Swift’s sweet caption. “For all their hard work this year, they really deserve it. Thank you to Hamilton Island for taking such great care of 125 of the people who work tirelessly to make sure the 1989 World Tour stage gets built, the lights are on, the costumes are made, the guitars are tuned, and the show goes on.”
Swift also used her Instagram to shut down rumors circulating amongst the Australian media claiming she was kicking people off Hamilton Island for her birthday. Apparently, one reporter tried to cover Swift’s vacation and was banned (and later banished) from the island.
The singer denied the reports, saying, “Aussie press, I love your enthusiasm but my birthday isn’t for 2 weeks and it’ll be a quiet one this year. Let’s take it down a notch:)”

Despite battling with the press (and ruffling the feathers of New Zealand conservationists), Swift looks like she’s made friends with the fowls.

The singer and her family celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday in and around Australia and New Zealand, while she geared up for the last leg of her tour.
The “Wildest Dreams” singer shared photos with her brother, Austin, and a charming video where she gets attacked by a bug. Taylor Swift, she’s just like us!
