If only you could erase Donald Trump from your online browser…
Now you can, thanks to the new Trump2Voldemort extension for Google Chrome that replaces every mention of the prospective Republican presidential candidate with references to the Harry Potter villain Lord Voldemort.
Each citation of the name Trump is converted to He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, You-Know-Who and Voldemort’s boyhood name, Tom M Riddle, once the software for Google’s browser is installed.
Trump was widely compared to Voldemort on social media after he suggested that all Muslims should be banned from entering the U.S.
It prompted Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling to defend her most evil character and tweet, “How horrible. Voldemort was nowhere near as bad.”

Sarah Xiyi Chen, listed as the extension’s creator, included a spell on the Google Chrome Web Store overview for downloaders to say.
“Racist, hateful, and ugly — these rats are the same. Avada Kedavra You-Know-Who’s name from your browser to Make America Great Again,” she wrote.
“After downloading, please go out of your way to protect the wonderful Muslims in your life, donate to refugees (Collateral Repair Project is a great organization), and for the love of liberty and freedom do not vote for Lord Voldemort.”
A petition demanding Trump be banned from the United Kingdom has more than 517,000 signatures by early Friday — making it the most popular ever campaign on the government’s website. Once a petition tops 100,000 signatures it must be considered for debate in the U.K. parliament, though this does not mean it will go ahead.
In New York City, hundreds of activists rallied on Thursday in front of the billionaire businessman’s hotel in midtown to condemn his comments.
