While you were doing whatever you normally do on Dec. 25, 20th Century Fox dropped not one, but two new trailers for the much-anticipated “Deadpool” movie.
The red band trailer bills itself as the “even more NSFW trailer,” making it a good thing many of you have the day off. If you happen to be surrounded by children on this day, the studio was kind enough to also release a sanitized version of the clip, which is somewhat silly since it has already been confirmed that the movie will be rated R.
The film stars Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson, a former Special Forces operative turned mercenary, who adopts the alter-ego Deadpool after a rogue experiment leaves him with accelerated healing powers.
Reynolds has been having lots of fun building buzz around the movie, as has Hugh Jackman. On Christmas Eve, the actor tweeted out a link to a new teaser along with a photo of himself as his “X-Men” character Wolverine, which only fuels rumors Jackman will make a cameo in the film.
