In case you haven’t heard, Marvel Comics will be taking over publishing duties for the Star Wars franchise from Dark Horse Comics beginning in 2015. Today Marvel announced via Starwars.com that they will be reprinting some of Dark Horse’s Star Wars comics.

The first book to collect Dark Horse material will be titled Star Wars Legends Epic Collection: The Empire Vol. 1. Marvel’s Epic Collections are designed to be large, affordable volumes that gather stories in chronological order. In this case, The Empire Vol. 1 will collect a hefty batch of stories set just after the events of Episode III, with material written by John Ostrander, Randy Stradley, Haden Blackman, and others.
