Battlefield Hardline‘s beta, currently available on PlayStation 4 and PC, will not end today as previously expected. Electronic Arts announced on the Battlefield Blog that the beta has been extended by one week, and will now end on Thursday, June 26, at 12:00 p.m. PDT.
PS4 and PC players can register to play the Battlefield Hardline beta today at battlefield.com/beta until June 22 at 12:00 p.m. PDT. On PC, the beta is open to anyone and unlocks instantly. The current Battlefield Hardline beta is available only on PS4 and PC, but EA says an open beta will be held this fall for all announced platforms: PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC.
“The team at Visceral Games would like to thank those that have participated in the Battlefield Hardline closed beta,” EA said. “We’ve seen some incredible feats demonstrated on the virtual streets of LA–everything from massive breach charge explosions and intense heists to criminals riding shotgun and cops banding together to protect vaults. All of your time spent in game and feedback shared with us will help shape Battlefield Hardline over the coming months.”
Battlefield Hardline launches October 21, two weeks before Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. For more on the game, check out GameSpot’s coverage from E3 2014.
