DC Entertainment has released a new cast video with actors and actresses from Gotham that gives us an inside glimpse into the upcoming FOX TV show.

To start out, David Mazouz (Bruce Wayne) and Camren Bicondova (Selina Kyle) revealed that the young children don’t start out knowing each other — at first — in the premiere season. However, according to Bicondova, Selina will become closer with Bruce, as well as Detective James Gordon, over the course of the first season because she has some valuable information that they don’t know.

As for the biggest departure for Gotham from the source material, Ben McKenzie (Gordon) said it’s the fact that his character and partner Harvey Bullock are the ones assigned to investigate the Wayne murders. As such, Gordon and Bruce’s relationship serves as the focal point for the FOX series.
