Belting extraordinaire Idina Menzel is sporting some new bangs.
The Broadway-turned-Hollywood star took to Instagram on Thursday, June 12, to debut her fresh, spur-of-the-moment ‘do by stylist Ted Gibson, captioning the image with the description: “Impulsive two minute haircut… BANG!”
Menzel became the talk of the town earlier this year when, at the Academy Awards, John Travolta accidentally introduced her as “Adele Dazeem.” The gaffe quickly became an Internet sensation.
“That threw me for a minute,” she told Us Weekly of Travolta’s flub back in March. “But then I just got back on track and reminded myself of where I was, and what a beautiful moment it was.”
The talented star, who recently returned to Broadway in Michael Greif’s “If/Then,” and voiced the character of Elsa in Disney’s hit “Frozen,” knows how to take it all in stride:
“Please,” she continued. “I mean, I’ve only benefited from it!”
