“American Idol” winner Phillip Phillips is tying the knot!
The star announced news of his engagement to longtime girlfriend Hannah Blackwell on his Facebook page on Friday.
Blackwell took to her own Instagram to share a picture of her engagement ring with a note about the news.

Phillips, who took home the title for the eleventh season of “American Idol,” opened up back in 2012 about his romantic first kiss with Blackwell.
“We had just got through with a date,” he said in an interview with radio station 104.3 MYfm. “I had a lot of fun and everything. I gave her a hug, and I said, ‘Would you mind if I kissed you?’ She said yes, so I freakin’ kissed her, and that’s what happened. It was very magical.”
