Thanks to her habitual selfies, we’ve all seen a lot of photos of Kim Kardashian. But you probably haven’t seen one like this before.

Kim Kardashian made her 27.2 million followers do a double-take when she tweeted a photo from her Love magazine cover on Saturday. Kardashian’s bleached eyebrows, wavy hair, and the dark, film noir-style lighting rendered the reality star almost unrecognizable:

The 34-year-old shared further details about the shoot in subsequent tweets:

Working w @stevenkleinstudio was so crazy! We shot for 3 days straight at a motel in LA. One night til 4am.

Kardashian debuted her bleached brows at her sister Kendall Jenner’s 19th birthday party in November. She made sure to tell her Instagram followers that the dramatic look was for a photoshoot, adding “#DontBeScaredOfMyBleachedBrows” in the caption of an Instagram photo:
