The year’s most surprising Oscar nomination was a cinematographer, Dick Poop, er sorry, we mean Dick Pope. Academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs misspoke while announcing Thursday’s nominations with Chris Pine, and though she meant to honor longtime cinematographer Dick Pope for his work on “Mr. Turner,” her mispronunciation caused the Internet to break down in giggles.
