Bill Cosby Says He's 'Far From Finished' With His Comedy Tour

Despite allegations of sexual abuse, Bill Cosby claims he is “far from finished” with his most recent tour. The comedian issued a statement to fans via E! News just ahead of his two Denver shows on Saturday:

Dear Fans: I have thousands of loyal, patient and courageous fans that are going to leave their homes to enjoy an evening of laughter and return home feeling wonderful. I’m ready! I thank you, the theatre staff, the event organizers and the Colorado Community for your continued support and coming to experience family, fun entertainment.

Cosby added, “Hey, Hey, Hey — I’m Far From Finished,” borrowing the name from his 2013 standup special.

Cosby’s recent tour has been overshadowed by the mounting allegations against him, and multiple shows have been canceled so far. He was heckled at his last stop on the Canadian leg of the tour, when a group in the audience stood up and chanted, “We believe the women,” before walking out of the theater.

Ticketmaster is offering refunds for the two Denver shows and KUSA-TV reported that more than 3,000 tickets had been sold as of Tuesday. “If the allegations turn out to be true, I’m going to be appalled and disgusted,” AEG Live President Chuck Morris told KUSA-TV. “But at this point, I feel like I have an obligation to the people that want to see the show — and an artist that has not been charged or convicted — I don’t think I can play judge and jury.”

Following the Denver stop, Cosby is currently scheduled to appear in Boston for two shows on Feb. 8.
