Despite all of Hellboy’s monstrous qualities like his red skin, big horns, long tail, and a giant hand made of red stone, he’s actually a pretty cool guy. He’s a hulking monster on the outside, and loveable protector of humanity on the inside. He just wants to be like us, which is why he tries to fit in by filing down his horns — it doesn’t really have the desired effect, but don’t tell him that.
