Twitter Trolls Embattled 'Nightly News' Anchor With #BrianWilliamsMisremembers

While the media has been piling on NBC’s Brian Williams ever since news broke that he had fabricated a story about coming under RPG fire during the Iraq War, in today’s day and age the most brutal criticism often comes from the Internet.

As more and more of Williams’ reporting comes under scrutiny, Twitter is wondering aloud what other moments in history Williams might have fraudulently interjected himself into, using the hashtag #BrianWilliamsMisremembers to mercilessly mock the anchor.
