Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden made an appearance on the series finale of NBC’s “Parks and Recreation” Tuesday, marking the last guest appearance by political figures on a show that has featured Sens. John McCain (R-Ariz.), Cory Booker (D-N.J.), former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and others throughout its six-year run.
The show’s finale skipped around in time, showing where each character ends up years after working in the parks and recreation department in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana. In a jump to the year 2025, Leslie Knope and her husband Ben Wyatt are seen at a dinner party at the Bidens’ home, gearing up for a fierce game of charades.
