Originally meant to only run for a single season, The Legend of Korra was a critical hit after it first aired and it received three more seasons that helped flesh out the story of the new Avatar. Set in the heart of Republic City, a melting pot of fire-, air-, earth-, and water-bending cultures, the series saw Korra take on insidious movements, learn about her multiple lives, and master her Avatar powers.
