With dozens and dozens of panels devoted to TV shows at San Diego Comic-Con, it’s pretty difficult to figure out a list of just five shows we’re excited for… so we kind of cheated and included some entries that pair together more than one series!

TV has become a huge part of SDCC, and as comic book movies and more genre projects expand into television, there’s an amazing array of panels this year focused on some very big properties, where the cast and producers will be in attendance, often debuting new footage.

With Arrow coming off an extremely well-received second season, DC is ramping up their TV presence in a big way. Comic-Con will include a big DC TV three-hour extravaganza on Saturday night, including screenings of the Gotham and The Flash pilots and appearances by the casts of those shows, plus Arrow and Constantine, with Arrow star Stephen Amell serving as host for the night. There will also be separate screening opportunities for the Constantine pilot and panels for Arrow and Constantine. Plus, while it’s not based on a character from the DC Universe per se, iZOMBIE, based on the DC/Vertigo comic, will screen and have a panel as well.
