Nearly three decades ago, Matthew Lillard had a leading role in the first Scream movie as Stu Macher, one the franchise’s initial killers. And while Lillard hasn’t played Stu since 1996, he had a very funny response when asked about a potential return in Scream 7.
“I am [Neve Campbell’s understudy], I’ve been working on my girl-ish figure. I will have to [shave the beard]. That comes next,” Lillard told GameSpot’s Chris Hayner during New York Comic Con.

That was Lillard’s joking answer. His more serious response was also amusing.
