Lego has announced that it’s teaming up with Netflix to create One Piece sets, based on the live-action adaptation of the popular manga and anime show. While details are light for now, Lego did tease upcoming sets with a new video featuring the trademark straw hat of the show’s main protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy.

“Join us as we sail the seas of creativity and adventure, capturing the spirit of the Straw Hat crew in every build. A grand adventure awaits,” Lego said in the official announcement. Beyond that, we’re not certain which sets will be produced, but it’s likely that we could see kits based on famous locales from the Netflix series, like the Baratie restaurant where Sanji works, Buggy the Clown’s Big Top Circus, or The Going Merry ship that Luffy and his fellow Strawhat Pirates sail the Grand Line on.
It’ll also be interesting to see how Lego adapts these characters to minifigure form, as Luffy can stretch his body in wild ways thanks to the Devil Fruit he ate as a child, while his first mate Zoro wields three swords–one in each hand and a third in his mouth. Other characters like Nami, Usopp, and Sanji should be easier to turn into minifigures, and it’ll be nice to see if other friends and foes like Garp, Buggy, and Arlong get the Lego treatment.
