Back in 1997, hundreds of thousands of hopeful moms and dads sent photos and home videos of their children to Oprah for “The Oprah Show’s” first-ever Cutest Baby Contest. A panel of celebrity judges sorted through the submissions to choose the cutest of the bunch, giving away some sweet prizes in the process.
Now that nearly two decades have gone by, “Oprah: Where Are They Now?” followed up with some of the winners to see what they are up to now.
Cutest Home Video
Eighteen years ago, baby Annie stole the show with her cute knack for blowing bubbles.
Today, Anne is 20 years old and a pre-med major at Miami University. She says she grew up watching “The Oprah Show,” which inspired her to travel to El Salvador and teach English to orphans at age 17.
Cutest Multiples
Chubby little beach babies Carl and Hannah earned the crown for Cutest Multiples back in 1997.
Today, the twins are 20-year-old college students. Carl is studying graphic design and Hannah is majoring in finance.
Cutest Toddler
The gold medal in the 2- and 3-year-old category went to Trae Elizabeth, an adorable tot with the sweetest set of curls.
Trae Elizabeth is now a 20-year-old college student who hopes to one day turn her passion for baking into a career.
