NEW YORK (AP) — Anna Kendrick, already known as an actress and singer, will soon show off her literary side.
At least, she’ll try. Touchstone announced Thursday that the star of such films as “Up in the Air” and “Pitch Perfect” and performer of the hit single “Cups (When I’m Gone)” has a deal for a collection of autobiographical essays. The publisher, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, says the book is currently untitled and is scheduled to be released in fall 2016.
In a statement issued through Touchstone, Kendrick joked that the book was her chance to demonstrate her “ineptitude, pettiness, and the frequency with which” she embarrasses herself.
Kendrick, 29, was an Oscar nominee for “Up in The Air” and a Tony nominee for “High Society.”
