'Mad Men' Actor Kevin Rahm Doesn't Actually Know How The Series Finale Ends

Kevin Rahm joined the “Mad Men” cast as Don Draper’s rival ad man Ted Chaough during the series’ fourth season, and it turns out that being late to the game cost him some very valuable information.

During a conversation with HuffPost Live’s Ricky Camilleri on Tuesday, Rahm was explaining the bright side of the show ending now when he said something surprising.

“I’m grateful they’re not jumping the shark, that they’ve found where they want to end their story and they’re ending it. I’m more excited about seeing the finale, because I honestly don’t know how it ends,” Rahm said.

So how is it possible that one of Sterling Cooper & Partners’ biggest creative forces doesn’t know what happens in the show’s conclusion? Rahm said that long after the cast’s final table read, Elisabeth Moss (aka Peggy Olson) revealed to him that only five cast members — the show’s original main characters — got to read the last 20 pages of the finale script.

“She goes, ‘Oh yeah, Matt [Weiner, the show’s creator] pulled us into a room afterwards and told us how it really ends,'” Rahm said. “And I’m like, ‘Are you kidding?’ I had no idea. So I honestly do not know how the very end happens.”
