One would normally assume that “Mad Men” and “Game of Thrones” have little in common, aside from the fact that both are television dramas that air back-to-back on Sunday nights. But this Sunday’s episodes of both series had one very similar thread: if you don’t have good grammar, you’re going to get schooled.

Stannis Baratheon, the Rightful King of Westeros Grammar, and Don Draper both threw shade at the simpletons who spewed incorrect grammar in their presence on the most recent episodes of “GoT” and “Mad Men.”

We’re hardly surprised, though. Stannis the Mannis has corrected Ser Davos’ grammar in the past (with the same “fewer” vs. “less” debate), and Don works with words on a daily basis. Moral of the story: all (mad) men must know proper grammar.

“Game of Thrones” airs on Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET on HBO, followed by “Mad Men” at 10:00 p.m. ET on AMC.
