Actress Kelly Rutherford’s petition asking the White House to help bring her children back to the U.S. hit a key goal — 100,000 signatures — on Tuesday after other stars promoted it on social media.
A petition on the We the People website needs to reach that number of signatures to garner White House review.
Rutherford is locked in a six-year custody battle with her former husband, German businessman Daniel Giersch, over their two children. A California judge has signed off on the children living with Giersch in France, Entertainment Tonight reported.
