In his newest film “Wild Horses,” Academy Award-winning actor Robert Duvall stars alongside his wife Luciana Duvall, Josh Hartnett and the ubiquitous James Franco. In an interview with “The HuffPost Show” on Friday, Duvall explained the trade-off he made to nab Franco for a role in the movie.
Duvall told host Roy Sekoff he was given just five days to film with Franco, in exchange for an appearance in an upcoming film of Franco’s.
“[He gave me] five days. Then I gave him two days on a movie he did,” Duvall said.
Duvall also shared the secret behind Franco’s productive work schedule.
“You know, he has a photographic memory. … He cuts time, so that’s why he can do four or five movies a year,” he said. “He’s a talented guy.”
“Wild Horses” is in theaters and on demand now.
