Kelly Ingram, AKA Shireen From 'Game Of Thrones,' Is Alive And Well On Twitter

Sunday night’s “Game of Thrones” was torturous to watch, to say the least, and fans are probably still heartbroken and torn over it.

The penultimate episode of Season 5, “The Dance of Dragons,” saw the brutal death of Shireen Baratheon. The young princess, played by Kelly Ingram, was burned at the stake by Melisandre as Stannis and his wife watched. The showrunners have discussed it, the episode director has dissected it and Liam Cunningham, who plays Ser Davos, has also chimed in. But where in the world is Ingram?

Don’t worry, “GoT” fans, she’s just fine. The actress tweeted on Tuesday, thanking her fans for their concerns over Shireen in the episode. Her tweet also makes it pretty official that Shireen is gone for good — we were sorta hoping she didn’t totally die.

Thank you for all the lovely messages about episode 9, I’ve had a wonderful journey with @GameOfThrones over the last 3 years. #ripShireen❤️

Ingram also kept the special horse Ser Davos gave Shireen in the episode before her traumatic scene.

Ingram has also shared Vines of herself singing on Twitter, revealing that she isn’t the only “GoT” cast member with a great voice. Brenock O’Connor, who plays Olly in the show, is also quite the singer. One of the boys in Ingram’s Twitter header photo also looks a lot like O’Connor — are these two buddies?

Then again, we hope Shireen won’t remain friends with Olly if that one theory turns out to be true.

The “Game of Thrones” Season 5 finale airs on Sunday, June 14 at 9:00 p.m. ET on HBO.
