The first in-game screenshot for upcoming professional wrestling game WWE 2K15 was released today by none other than cover star John Cena. He dispatched the image today through his Twitter account, and publisher 2K Sports followed that up with the bigger version above.
In the work-in-progress image, Cena is staring down fellow fighter Randy Orton. 2K Sports says the image represents what WWE 2K15 will look like on “next-gen consoles,” though it is not clear if the screenshot was captured on Xbox One or PlayStation 4.
WWE 2K15 launches October 28 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PS4. If you preorder the game, you’ll receive two playable Sting characters at no extra cost.
The game’s $100 special edition was also revealed today, by way of IGN. The “Hulkmania” collector’s edition–which will only be available on Xbox One and PS4 and is limited to 25,000 units–includes a copy of the game and a collectible card hand-signed by Hulk Hogan. It also includes an actual piece of the ring canvas from Hogan’s Monday Night Raw appearance on March 10 this year, making it worthy of the “collector’s edition” description, indeed.
