Guardians of the Galaxy hit screens worldwide over the weekend and has been a hit with critics and audiences alike, grossing a fortune in the process. The film has also triggered a couple of debates in the IGN office, the first of which was whether or not it’s better than The Avengers (check out the latest The Superhero Show for more on that).

But when discussing the film we all seemed to have a different favourite character, which is a testament to the brilliance of these comic creations and the skill with which writer-director James Gunn introduces them on film.
