Just days after dropping the lyric video for his new single “Ghost Town,” Adam Lambert just released the official video for the track — and it’s HOT.
Speaking with E! News, Lambert said the clip, shot in black and white by famed video director Hype Williams, was meant to evoke “Coachella gone goth.”
“I wanted to bring in some cool people so that everyone could feel like they were a part of this thing,” he said. “No matter who you were, no matter how old or your race or your sexual orientation or anything, I want it to feel very melting pot.”
Melting pot, yes — but are we the only ones who are also getting a bit of an early-’90s George Michael vibe too? Regardless, Lambert has arguably never looked better (his arms in that sleeveless denim vest alone have us swooning) and we expect this song to be huge and playing everywhere — from dance clubs to Walgreens — in the coming weeks.
“Ghost Town” is the first single from Lambert’s upcoming third studio album, “The Original High,” due out June 16. A press release for the album sent to The Huffington Post notes that fans who pre-order the new album at from his official website will receive an instant download of the song.
