In honor of LGBT Pride Month, Adam Lambert took part in a Google Hangout this past Saturday in order to raise visibility surrounding issues affecting the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.
The hangout took place as a part of AT&T’s second annual “Live Proud” campaign, an initiative that centers on awareness, empowerment and pride. Throughout the hangout, Lambert took questions about using his platform to further queer issues, being a queer singer and the “Live Proud” campaign itself.
AT&T has been a long-standing supporter of rights of the LGBT community. In one of its latest pro-queer moves, AT&T became the first major company to condemn Russia’s anti-gay laws earlier this year in wake of the country’s homophobic crackdown and its pervasive culture of fear and violence.
