Adam Sandler used his final appearance on “The Late Show With David Letterman” to say goodbye to the longtime host in the best way he can: with a song.
The tune contained Sandler’s familiar musical stylings — his voice, a guitar, simple phrasing and hilarious punchlines, and included some guesses as to what Letterman and band leader Paul Shaffer might be doing once the show is off the air.

Letterman’s final “Late Show” airs on May 20.
