Azealia Banks Unfortunately Predicted Exactly What Would Happen To Nicki Minaj's Wax Figure

Azealia Banks had some thoughts on the likelihood that people would defile Nicki Minaj’s wax figure, and she was right.

Last week, the rapper tweeted about the “Anaconda”-themed figure, which depicts a scene from the music video with Minaj crouched atop a table wearing a gold chain top and black briefs. The statue debuted earlier this month at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas. While Minaj posted multiple Instagram photos saying she loved it and calling it “iconic,” Banks noted some issues.

Wow, they finally give nicki minaj a wax figure and it’s a statue of her bent over on all fours…… White people yo….

As much as that woman has accomplished, they had to put her on all fours… Why not standing up with a mic in her hand ???

I would complain and ask for a do-over. That’s such underhanded shade

Martha Stewart’s most iconic moment was when she went to jail but they didn’t put her wax figure in a jail uniform… Come on y’all…

All ppl are gonna do is go up to that statue and take pictures shoving their crotch in her face and putting their crotch on her butt

— AZEALIA BANKS (@AZEALIABANKS) August 12, 2015

That’s not nice. I don’t feel good about that

— AZEALIA BANKS (@AZEALIABANKS) August 12, 2015

But if u like it I love it

On Tuesday, Banks’ predictions came true.

Now I understand what @AZEALIABANKS was talking about. When I look at this I feel so disgusted pic.twitter.com/G2Y504zRUN

Le Sigh…

— AZEALIA BANKS (@AZEALIABANKS) August 18, 2015

I have some sort of feral, triple-intuitiveness that makes me know things as soon as I seen them.

— AZEALIA BANKS (@AZEALIABANKS) August 18, 2015

Sigh is right.
