Of all the September issues, none is more highly anticipated than Vogue’s. There is an entire movie dedicated to it, for crying out loud.
And now, it seems the wait for this year’s cover is finally over. After a leaked photo from a fan page made its way around the Internet Wednesday night, Vogue confirmed via Instagram and on its site Thursday morning that the “Flawless” songstress is, in fact, its cover star once again.

This is the third time that Queen Bey has appeared on the cover of U.S. Vogue. She previously posed for the covers of the March 2013 and the April 2009 issues.
According to MTV, the 33-year-old singer, who Stella McCartney calls “the whole package: primal, rare, delicate, beautiful and powerful” in a preview for the story, is the third black female, after Naomi Campbell and Halle Berry, to appear alone on the September cover.
Shot by famed photographer Mario Testino, she looks absolutely stunning (as usual) in a Marc Jacobs dress and in the accompanying video posted to Vogue’s site. We can’t wait to get our hands on a copy when it officially hits newsstands Aug 25.
