The previously announced Wave Blue PlayStation 4 controller will be available in the United States starting this fall, Sony has announced. There’s still no word, however, on when the Magma Red controller will be available stateside. Currently, both new color configurations are available only in Japan (though you can pay extra to import them if you really want to).
In addition to the standard Black, Wave Blue, and Magma Red PS4 controllers, special Urban Camouflage and Glacier White gamepads are in the works. These are expected to launch this year for the regular $60 price.
The Glacier White PS4 controller goes on sale this September alongside the special $450 white Destiny PS4 bundle, which includes a 500GB system and a copy of Bungie’s new game. By comparison, Microsoft only offers standard black Xbox One systems and controllers, though there are rumors that a white unit might be introduced someday.
