Warner Bros. and DC announced the decision to move Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice from its scheduled May 6, 2016 release date – opposite Marvel’s Captain America 3 – to March 25, 2016, earlier this week.
The studio also revealed that nine additional untitled DC movies and two “event” films had been given dates. In a recent interview with EW, Dan Fellman, Warner Bros.’ president of domestic distribution touched on what motivated the decision and hinted that we’ll be hearing some announcements about those untitled films in the coming weeks.
