Not content with putting out six minutes of gameplay footage last week (which is still well worth checking out), CD Projekt Red has released a huge, 37-minute gameplay demo of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which you can watch above.
The video opens up with Geralt riding on a horse up to the expansive city of Novigrad, having killed the griffin we saw in a video back at E3. We get a look around the city, and after chatting with the man who wanted the griffin dead, Geralt sets back out into the wilderness to continue along with a quest.
To get to his destination more quickly, we see how the fast travel system works, which requires you to visit a signpost just outside of the city. As is often the case with these systems, you need to have visited a location before you can fast travel to it. In this case, fast traveling saves a substantial amount of time–the video’s narrator says it would have taken “at least 15 to 20 minutes at full gallop” on a horse.
Following a delay earlier this year, The Witcher 3 is planned for release on February 24 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. For more, check out our latest preview.
